The second tome of our anthology, Subversions, will soon be printed. To celebrate, we are holding not one, but two book launches! Thursday, May 3rd, at the Casa del Popolo (4873 St-Laurent, Montreal) at 5pm; and Saturday, May 5th, at the Coop l'Agitée (251 Dorchester, Quebec City) at 5pm. Come and meet some of the authors, hear readings from the anthology, and enjoy a performance by local Montreal band, Die Sashiko.February 8th, 2012: Huge Success

Several updates for you, after weeks of absence due to the holidays:- Our next cabaret will take place on February 3rd, at 8pm at the DIRA. The theme: Love and Anarchy. Come along and bring your friends/lovers too!
- We're looking for submissions for the cover art of the next anthology. Submissions must be in two colours (one of those being black), be relevant to the project, and be submitted in a 300 dpi format to awb@daemonflower.com by January 31st.

Our next cabaret will take place on December 2, at 8pm at the DIRA (2035 St-Laurent). The theme is last year's G20 protests in Toronto, and all profits will be donated to the CLAC's G20 legal defence fund.November 3, 2011: Reminder - workshop on November 12
Our first workshop of the season will take place on Saturday, November 12th, at 2pm and the DIRA, on the theme of anarchist literature. We will attempt to answer the following question: "what is anarchist literature?". We will discuss some symbolic authors, the history of a rich literary heritage and distinguish between literary movements, among other things.October 21, 2011: Anarchist literature workshop

September 13, 2011: AWB workshop on September 24th
On September 24th - the day after our first Cabaret on the 23rd - the AWB will hold a workshop on the theme of anarchist literature. The workshop will take place at the DIRA (2035 St-Laurent) from 3pm to 5pm.September 11, 2011: Call-out for submissions

To continue the tradition started last year, the AWB will be organizing cabarets for fundraising and to bring the anarchist community together. Le jeudi 3 mai, à la Casa del Popolo (4873 St-Laurent, Montréal) à 17h; et le samedi 5 mai, au Coop l'Agitée (251 Dorchester, Québec) à 17h. Venez rencontrer quelques un-e-s des auteur-e-s, entendre des extraits du recueil et voir la performance du groupe montréalais Die Sashiko.8 février 2012: Un grand succès

Notre prochain cabaret est reporté au 10 février, à cause d'un conflit de dates avec une soirée bénéfice au profit de la manifestation contre la brutalité policière. Notez bien la nouvelle date; nous vous attendons en grand nombre le 10!18 janvier 2012: Le retour
Plusieurs nouvelles à annoncer après une longue absence due aux fêtes:- Notre prochain cabaret aura lieu le 3 février, à 20h au DIRA. Le thème sera Amour et anarchie; donc n'hésitez pas à inviter vos ami-e-s et amant-e-s!
- Nous aimerions recevoir des soumissions d'art pour la couverture de la prochaine anthologie. Les soumissions doivent être de deux couleurs (noir en étant une), doivent être en format 300 dpi et doivent être soumis avant le 31 janvier à notre adresse courriel, awb@daemonflower.com.

Notre prochain cabaret aura lieu vendredi le 2 décembre, à 20h au DIRA (2035 St-Laurent). Le thème portera sur les manifestations lors du G20 à Toronto l'année passée, et tous les profits seront versés au fonds de défense légal de la CLAC.3 novembre 2011: Rappel - Atelier le 12 novembre
Notre premier atelier de la saison aura lieu le samedi 12 novembre, à 14h au DIRA, et se déroulera sur le thème de la littérature anarchiste. Nous tenterons de répondre à la question "qu'est-ce la litt´rature anarchiste?". Notre prochaine soirée cabaret aura lieu le vendredi 28 octobre, toujours au DIRA. Le thème sera l'Halloween, donc si vous voulez vous pointer avec un déguisement, ne vous gênez surtout pas!29 septembre 2011
